Bikaji Foods has recently acquired a 55% stake in Ariba Foods for Rs 60.49 crore, marking a significant step in its strategic expansion. This acquisition is set to enhance Bikaji Foods’ position in the frozen snacks and QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) markets. By integrating Ariba Foods’ advanced production facilities, Bikaji aims to elevate its frozen snacks and savouries manufacturing capabilities. Ariba Foods, based in Ujjain, is well-regarded for its high-quality snacks and frozen products, including samosas, naans, parathas, and sweets under the InDine brand. The company also provides contract manufacturing services, which will augment Bikaji’s production flexibility and capacity. Deepak Agarwal, Managing Director of Bikaji Foods International, highlighted that this acquisition strengthens Bikaji’s ability to grow its export business and enter the QSR sector effectively. Gaurav Baheti, Promoter of Ariba Foods, shared enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that Ariba’s advanced production facilities and strategic location will drive significant growth in the frozen food segment.
