Jubilant Foodworks, the operator of Domino’s India, reports a Q2 net profit decline to ₹66.53 crore.
Jubilant Foodworks Limited (JFL), the operator of Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ in India, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹66.53 crore for Q2 FY25, marking a decline from ₹97.2 crore in the same period last year. Despite the dip in profit, the company’s revenue from operations saw significant growth, rising to ₹1,954.72 crore compared to ₹1,368.63 crore in Q2 FY24. This growth was driven by the company’s continued expansion in the Indian and international markets.
JFL attributed part of its financial performance to the acquisition of a controlling stake in DP Eurasia N.V. earlier this year, which added to its international operations. In Q2 FY25, the company added 139 stores across brands, taking its total network to 3,130 stores worldwide. In India alone, revenue from operations stood at ₹1,466.9 crore, supported by an 8.1% growth in Domino’s India, with the addition of 51 net stores, bringing the total to 2,199 stores in the country.
Internationally, revenue contributions were ₹460.5 crore. However, Domino’s Bangladesh had a brief 5.3% reduction due to store closures and severe operating conditions. All stores have since resumed operations, signaling recovery in the region.
